About the Day

We both decided upon Jamaica as our place to wed because of the strong conncetion that took place the Fall of 2005. We meet each others family and our love began to blossom, such that we discovered it during this time. We both felt that Jamaica would be a happy, romantic, and full of joy and love in the air on our special day Dec. 29,2007.
Our reception will also take place at the Grand Lido Resort and Spa which will be in the conference room located there at the resort, which will include food, dancing and if you desire a swim in the crystal clear white sand beach.

HOTEL LOCATIONS: I'm truly grateful that you have all taken the time to look at our website and gather pertinent information about our wedding in Jamaica. Here is some tips and suggestions. Grand Lido is a great resort and we have visited there numerous times. So what you see in the brochure or on the website, is exactly what you will get plus more. BUT, we understand that Grand Ldo is expensive and cost on an average about $400.00 per person/per night. YES, you heard right this is very steep and expensive. So we have taken the liberty of finding another resort that is in Negril, on the beach, has air conditioning in each room, is very clean and 70% less than Grand Lido. This is called the CocoLaPalm Beach Resort and Whitesands. We only have a few rooms at Whitesands but the majority of the rooms are at CocolaPalm. The difference is Whitesands you can stay 5 NIGHTS but Cocola Palm you must pay (don't have to stay) for 7 NIGHTS.
Please take a look at there website (www.cocolapalm.com)or (www.whitesandsjamaica.com)these webiste can surely make your mind up for you!! And also to which one is more suitable for your taste. The one major difference between Grand Lido Resort and Spa and Cocolapalm and Whitesands is that Grand Lido is all-inclusive and the other two resorts are not. Keep in mind that food is very inexpensive in Jamaica and you can eat like a KING or QUEEN for next to nothing. Remember that this is a busy time for them and rooms book QUICKLY!!! So if you would like a room you must email me or call my mother 909-885-7033 to reserve. YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR DEPOSIT TO US NO LATER THAN APRIL 15, 2007 (taxes due) this amount will be the cost of your room for two days. In the event that your unexpectedly can not attend you will be refunded your money (IN FULL)if you cancel at least 60days before Dec.5, 2007. Again these resorts (Cocolaplam and Whitesands) are poplar resorts and this is a VERY BUSY TIME of the Year. SO you need to make reservations as soon as possible. You will only be required to put 25% (two night stay) down and pay the remaining balance 60 days before Dec. 5, 2007 or cancel at this time. PLEASE I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU CHECK OUT THE WEBSITE BEFORE MAKING A DECISION. AND EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS I CAN ANSWER THEM OR DWAYNE CAN. STAYING AT THE CRYSTAL CLEAR BEACH EVERYDAY CANT BE BAD.
LAST WORD OF CAUTION: GRAND LIDO HAS A CLOTHING OPTIONAL SECTION WHICH MEANS EXACTLY THAT. ALL OF THE PEOPLE CHOOSE NOT TO WEAR CLOTHING. SO DON'T BE AFFENDED WHEN U SEE PEOPLE WITHOUT CLOTHING ON. ALSO ALOT OF THE BEACH AREAS ARE CLOTHING OPTIONAL SO DRESS ACCORDINGLY.
